I’ve always used Safelite to replace my windshields but after my experience with the Port Saint Lucie Safelite location I will never use Safelite ever again. They installed a faulty windshield on my Explorer that wouldn’t calibrate to the safety features of the vehicle so another windshield needed to be ordered. Safelite didn’t bother placing the windshield replacement order till a week later. Their system would contact me and tell me I had an appointment coming up and to block off large windows of time, then they would no call no show. I spent over 20 hours just sitting and waiting for them to show up to these scheduled time frames that they never bothered to cancel. I tried to call, they never answered. I called their corporate, zero help. I tried to switch to a different windshield company, safelite told me they would need to come and repo the faulty windshield before they would let that happen. Leaving us with no windshield. Which wasn’t an option. Leaving us stuck with Safelite. The only redeeming quality of the PSL Safelite location is the friendliness and the professionalism of their windshield technicians. Take your business elsewhere.

My professional and friendly tech finished the job faster than expected and it seems well done, now weeks later. There was un unacceptable amount of dirt left on the fabric of my light, clean interior windshield area or I would rate 5 ⭐️.

Wrong glass was ordered. That is not the reason for the 1-star review. Those things happen. The website asks for the insurance information and then shows a verifying coverage status. AS IN, they are verifying coverage. There is nothing that states that I also have to call in the claim. What I thought was super convenient, not having to call the insurance co, turned out to be a wasted trip. To the young lady at the desk: The website says "We'll collect some information, VERIFY YOUR COVERAGE and then schedule your appointment. After submitting the information, your website says, "Your policy and vehicle information has been submitted for coverage verification." Then you get an email that says "you're all set. See you at the appointment," NOTHING about submitting a claim myself Installer calls me, can't install your windshield because for Geotab is interfering with our scanner. I explained that it wasn't. That's not how it works. He told me that there was nothing they could do to help me. A quick google search of WHY IS THIS HAPPENING revealed that it was a blown fuse and tells you exactly which fuse it is. So, we had to work that out on our own. Replaced the fuse, returned the vehic

Very disappointed with Safelite in Port St. Lucie, Florida. After replacing the windshield on my 2023 Nissan Pathfinder, the ADAS system was still not working properly, even though they insisted everything was fine. The Nissan dealership confirmed the issue, and after my insurance approved the repair, the problem was finally fixed. I give Safelite Port St. Lucie 1 star for the poor service and for wasting my time.

4 attempts to replace my windshield.🥲 1st attempt technician left due to weather.🙃 2nd attempt replaced windshield and could hear air coming into the windshield. Wondering why he replaced the wondow with a missing retainer strip ??? 🫣 3rd attempt, tech came out, only to leave due to missing part! 4th attempt..still hearing air coming into my windshield! Never checked to listen for air before leaving. Weird. I have been calm, cool and collected. Now! I have decided to go to a other shop, 45 mins away. Maybe they will get it right! My car should be quiet when driving..not sounding like a window is cracked open!!! 😐 😭😭😭

Just replaced my windshield. It was done flawlessly and looks amazing. The wait wasn’t too long and it was a super easy process. Thank you to my tech Casey. He did a fantastic job!

Had my windshield chip repaired. Did a great job. In less than an hour. Pricey repair but much cheaper than risking a windshield replacement if not performed. Great job! Thank you.

Faulty replacement of windshield lead to large amounts of water inside the vehicle and multiple (52) check engine codes. Management very nonchalant about the entire ordeal. Tried to have me tow my own car to the dealer. Had to pay extra out of pocket for a rental that fit a car seat and our stroller. Only follow up that occurred was to ask why I haven't returned rental car. Whole experience was a complete disaster that ended with me having to get rid of the vehicle that they damaged.
